Lefever Associates is a consulting firm owned by Allon Lefever. Mr. Lefever has over 30 years of extensive senior management experience in businesses ranging from agriculture to manufacturing to the Internet. He has a Master’s degree in Economics from Penn State University. He is best known as an entrepreneur, having helped start 22 companies, 6 of which went public on NASDAQ.
He has served on over 60 Boards of Directors, ranging in the business world from small family businesses to a Fortune 500 company, and in the not for profit world, he has served on many educational and community charity Boards, Chairing an International Development Board and an International University Board.
He has been involved in raising over $4 billion in capital over his career. We have other professionals that Mr. Lefever utilizes for specific skills as needed.
Our Approach:
We offer a free “get acquainted” initial meeting directly with Mr. Lefever, where we get to know one another, share the situation at hand, and discuss possible alternatives where we might work together, as appropriate.
We typically work with you to define a “scope of work”, and the deliverables you can expect, for a defined price. We can also work from a retainer and an hourly basis if that is preferred. In some cases the consulting consists of helping with one specific task, such as finding a company to acquire or fo a merger. Other times we work with clients over a multi-year period to help guide and improve their performance.
We have helped many families successfully transition their business to the next generation, working with both the out-going generation, and the in-coming generation. We have written merger and acquisition plans, and assisted in their implementation. We have coached Entrepreneurs as well as seasoned executives. We have done financial modeling and assisted in raising capital.
Given the sensitive nature of our work, particularly in family business successions, or in acquisition or merger work, we stay low key and offer strict confidentiality. Therefore we do not share a list of clients with anyone, or reveal who they are on this web site. We can of course provide appropriate confidential references, which we encourage.
